An extensive consultation is my key to success. I find out the history of my clients hair, likes and dislikes, styling preferences and educate them on what would be best to use on their hair at home so they can re-create the look I have given them. I like colour to look natural and not too forced. The condition of the hair is my top priority and I will not hesitate to give honest advice.

Christa Slater

With 30 years experience I had a few breaks to concentrate on a young family. Returning as a Goldwell sales representative, and then becoming the Goldwell kms State Salon Educator. I returned to hairdressing when Genre hair opened 13 years ago. I really enjoy making my clients feel special and advising them on a cut and colour that looks great, but will also be easy for them to manage at home. I work with an amazing team at Genre. It has a friendly and relaxed atmosphere so when our clients arrive they feel warm and welcome.

Amanda is so much fun! Life is for living healthy and fit, eating great food and having a knockout wardrobe! (especially her Chritian Louboutin collection) cute short haircuts, colour and a cracking mens fade is what she loves! in her spare time she goes under the ocean to grab some abalone for supper!

Hannah is our emerging stylist, strives to make every guest experience warm and welcoming, and is excited to learn all aspects of hairdressing. Loves being at the beach and in the water and has a real green thumb for indoor plants

Sophie Lewis

Meet our talented stylist Sophie! Specialising in blondes and balayage, she brings a unique touch to every client’s hair. When not crafting beautiful hairdos, she is a dedicated bodybuilder with a furry companion, Arlo.

Steph Partridge

Steph is our emerging stylist. you will see her around the salon keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes, she especially loves learning foiling. She loves working on her car and collecting designer items.
